La Hawla Wala Quwwata Illa Billah - There is no power nor might Except with Allah.

A lot of people view Islam as an outdated religion based on their Argument that Islam Does not conform to Civilization, but this in itself is a plain error. Civilization needs to conform to the laws of nature as designed by God himself. Anything contrary to the laws of God can hence not be attributed to civilization. Many people will label those who adhere to their religious teachings as not being civilized but will gradually take their selves and their barbaric ways as civilized.

One of the Concepts in Islam that will leave you marvelling, is the Concept of a Woman travelling with a Mahram. Many people frown at the issue of a Woman travelling without a Mahram but I hope after reading this they will not. 

During the pre-Islamic era, a Woman could not travel through the lands all alone due to criminal activities such as robbery, kidnapping and even wild animals, as well as the hardship attached to travelling through the scorching desert.

When we look at our world today, those whom society regards as VIPs, such as the head of state, Queens, Governors, and even traditional leaders are been protected by special bodyguards, for the Traditional leaders they are called Royal Guards. Their duty is to protect the VIPs from external danger. 

Women are Special in Islam and are given the treatment of VIPs. From marriage down to every aspect of their lives. While only Queens and high-ranking individuals can obtain this type of protection within the society, 1400years ago from now, Islam legislated that no believing woman should travel except with a Mahram.

Their job is to grant protection and look after the women they escort. No doubt Islam has excelled above all other ways of life. It will be an honour if the president should assign a security escort for every woman. But remember, this is from Allah. why then Frown at it?

The teachings of Islam are not and will never be outdated.

''And then which bounties of your Lord will you deny''

The well-known adage says prevention is better than cure.
